p-man's almost NINE!!!

I can't believe my baby's going to be NINE years old tomorrow!!! In celebration, we have a few things planned. On Thursday evening at 8pm, we'll be meeting at Kingy's pizza in Canal Winchester for his birthday dinner. Josh works that evening, so we're trying to make it late enough that he can make it even if just for the tail end of it. Kingy's is located at 7470 Hill Rd in Canal Winchester, 43110 for those with gps : )

We'll also be getting together at Mia's house on Sunday, June 7 at 3pm for hot dogs and water games. This will be a little more kid oriented, but adults are welcome too...just be prepared, you may get wet! : )

If you'd like to get Parker a gift and are looking for ideas, his school's levy failed this year and music and art will not be provided next year. So a great idea would be money to go towards art classes or music lessons next year. We're trying to provide him with as many opportunities as we can, and he'd LOVE being able to continue to be involved in art and music. He's also into Shel Silverstein books (he has Falling Up, Where the Sidewalk Ends, and The Light in the Attic...and his dad got him Runny Babbit for his birthday so far) and LOVES half price books and Best Buy, so gift certificates there would be a great idea too! Obviously gifts are never expected...your PRESENCE means the most! But we thought we would clue everyone in on what he's into these days. : )

Hope everyone can make one or both of these celebrations! Thanks for being such an important part of our family!

how mavo spent most of his st patty's day...

them magic mountain tokens at each prank.

green mint chocolate chip ice cream, and hot fudge...

mavo, mommy, and daddy photos

also by uncle matt : )

mother/son dance : )

parker had a mother/son dance at his school, and because they pitched it to the kids as a "male student/special female friend" dance, i was his third choice after ju-ju and mia. but we ended up having fun, he ran into his friends, and us moms were quickly ditched so they could dance and take pictures of eachother doing it. haha. in the pictures are his friends damani and gabe. if i could handpick my son's friends, these are definately the boys i'd choose!!

disney on ice!!

mia gave us tickets for disney on ice for christmas and we went with her this week and had a blast!! thanks for the cool christmas gift, mia!!
